How do I install FactorVault?

FactorVault is available on the Chrome Web Store, the Firefox Add-on Page, and the Edge Add-on Page. Navigate to the appropriate download page for your browser type and follow the instructions on that page. If you still have problems, please don't hesitate to contact us.


How do I create an account?

You can create an account one of two ways:
  1. From the subscription checkout page after selecting a plan
  2. After downloading the extension and clicking the signup link on the options page
Signing up via the extension options page will create your account with a Free subscription, and if you want to upgrade, you must visit the billing portal link found on the options page.


How do I upgrade my subscription?

The easiest way to upgrade your subscription is to visit the Subscription tab on the extension options page and navigate to the billing portal link provided. If you still have trouble, please don't hesitate to contact us.


Is FactorVault safe to use?

Yes! FactorVault uses XChaCha20-Poly1305, one of the most secure encryption standards available today to encrypt your data at rest, and TLS 1.2 to encrypt data in transit.

Additionally, if you choose to opt-out of our data collection service, our database will pass your data through a one-way algorithm to scramble the data so that nobody can read or steal it. For users who have opted-in to the data collection service, we commit to a 30-day retention policy while we process the data to improve our product. After this period, your data is automatically run through the same algorithm so that your personal data is never vulnerable.

Do you sell my data to third parties?

No! FactorVault only uses your data if you have opted-in to our data collection service, and strictly for improvements to the accuracy and speed of our AI-powered algorithms.

Why didn't my code(s) appear in the list / Why is the code(s) wrong?

We are always seeking to improve our product. If you have trouble with code(s) not appearing or returning the incorrect code, please use the Report Code button on the extension window. If you still have feedback, please contact us or consider becoming a beta tester to assist with improving our product.


The codes list didn't appear when I used the keyboard shortcut?

We are always seeking to improve our product. If you have trouble with the extension window not appearing, try reloading the page or reinstalling the extension. If you still have feedback, please contact us or consider becoming a beta tester to assist with improving our product.


I paid for a subscription, but it's still showing as the Free version?

All of our billing functions are managed through Stripe. If you have problems with payment, please first visit the billing portal link on the extension options page to check for any errors. If the problem persists, please contact us immediately.
